Start something, go ahead…

If we don’t start thinking positively, there’s no reason for anyone else to. Create the change, start the way of thinking within yourself and eventually it’s going to creep into the rest of the world….

Start by embracing the unknown.

I’m done for now. thank you.

Altering your vibration

Over the years I have started to take exception with the undeniable fact that a lot of shamanic work seems to almost focus on the use of consciousness altering substances, needless to say natural.
I’m not in complete agreement with the idea.

First off, to clear up a misconception.
I’m always hearing people talk about “doing ‘shrooms and going to the shaman for a trip, dude…” The fact is, the “patient/client” doesn’t “do” any of the substances. That’s the vehicle of the shaman, so there’s no sharing or party here.

I feel that to make a connection, a real strong, CLEAN connection with that divine vibration that we are seeking, you can’t alter your waves through artificial means. Once you do that, you’re not in control of the situation, no matter what anyone may say. (And yes, I’m speaking from experience here)

I’ve read Castaneda and all that pertinent stuff, and I went down that path many moons ago, and as much as it does make the journey a little faster, as I said, it’s not real. Your vibration, your wave, call it what you wish, has been altered, and it’s not stable, therefore it’s not operating at its’ peak potential.

I see it sort of like this.
If you can’t perceive without the aid of artificial means, first off, you’re not ready to be there, and second, you probably don’t deserve to go on the journey, which often leads to a bad experience. The people that work with energy all know the wisdom on the other side of the veil is pretty all-encompassing.
They seem to know what’s what and who belongs there.

Sorry if that was a bit of proselytizing…
I continually hear people go on about the necessity for Mother Nature’s assistance, eg: hallucinogens, in doing energy work and working natural magick, and I don’t buy into it anymore.
Not with what I’ve seen/witnessed/experienced.

We’re all amazing, energetic beings capable of healing ourselves and others, and in this time which is making that fact more and more apparent, I think it may be the time to heighten peoples’ awareness that psycho-actives aren’t really necessary, as much fun as they may be.

As I’m sure you’re aware, the only reason psychoactive herbs cause any sort of reaction is the toxin that’s creeping into the system. I think when people realize that it’s a poison they’re ingesting, (and I realize that’s taking it a stretch for someone who enjoys their magic mushrooms), they will eventually look at things in a slightly clearer light.

….or not.

Inside the Cloud Gate.

Blessings all…
